Welcome to Scribing.io (“Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using Scribing.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

• A licensed healthcare professional, healthcare organization, or authorized user under applicable laws and regulations.

• Legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Scribing.io provides AI-powered tools to:

• Transcribe doctor–patient conversations,

• Generate clinical notes, SOAP summaries, and documentation,

• Help healthcare professionals improve efficiency in their clinical workflows.

Scribing.io is not a substitute for professional judgment or clinical decision-making. The Service is intended to assist healthcare professionals and must be reviewed and verified for accuracy before being used in any clinical, legal, or billing context.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

• Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or harmful data.

• Access or attempt to access other users’ data or Scribing.io systems without authorization.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Services.

• Use the Service in a way that violates patient privacy or applicable health data laws (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

5. Data Privacy & Security

Your use of Scribing.io is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal and health-related information. However, no system is completely secure. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transmitting data online.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with applicable health data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA in the U.S., GDPR in the EU, or local equivalents).

6. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content within Scribing.io are owned or licensed by us.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Subscription & Payment

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

• Pricing and payment terms will be displayed during sign-up.

• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

• We reserve the right to change pricing or features with prior notice.

Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of your account.

At Scribing.io, we strive to ensure our users have the best possible experience with our product.

Refunds are only available for payments processed through Paddle, our official payment partner.

As per Paddle’s Buyer Terms, customers are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that the service has not been extensively used during that period.

If your payment was made via Paddle and you wish to request a refund, please contact us at support@scribing.io with your order reference.

Payments made through other gateways are non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate charges or billing errors.

We encourage all users to take advantage of our 7–14 day free trial before purchasing a subscription.

8. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

• We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

• The AI-generated outputs are assistive tools, not verified clinical records.

• Users must independently verify and review all content before relying on it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scribing.io, its founders, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill,

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scribing.io, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of:

• Your misuse of the Platform,

• Violation of these Terms, or

• Infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

• You violate these Terms,

• You misuse or compromise platform security, or

• We discontinue the Services.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website, and continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India/State.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Dhanbad District, Jh, India.
